Book a bed and breakfast, a holiday home or an apartment in Trieste in December to experience the magical atmosphere of the unique Central European Christmas market overlooking the sea! From December 8 to 22 different areas of the historic city center, including Piazza Sant'Antonio, Piazza della Borsa and Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, will host the Christmas village. By strolling through the characteristic wooden houses it will be possible to buy tipical handicrafts or food and wine specialties from many countries, among which we mention Croatia, Finland, Great Britain, Baltic Republics, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain and Hungary.
The lines of decorated trees, the illuminations and Christmas music will help transform the Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia in a really evocative of Christmas cards.
